How much does the UTA fuel card cost and what fees are incurred?
Fleet managers can see exact prices and discounts in the individual offer and on invoices.
The cost of a UTA fuel card depends on your contract, package and country. In general, you pay:
- A monthly card / service fee per card
- The fuel or service price for each transaction
- Possibly optional add‑on fees (e.g., for EV charging)
- In some countries or segments, service fees for specific services (e.g., tolls, ferries)

- May include a minimum turnover obligation
- Includes everything in Basic, plus extended benefits
- Has a higher monthly service card fee, and usually a higher minimum turnover
2. Fuel and service prices
When you use your UTA fuel card, you pay:
- The price of the fuel or service (e.g., diesel, petrol, AdBlue, car wash, repairs, tolls)
- Any discounts or special prices that UTA has agreed with you as part of your contract
For customers, what is important is:
- All fuel and service transactions appear together on a single, itemised invoice
- You see the unit price, quantity, and any applicable fees or discounts per transaction
3. Optional add‑ons and EV charging fees
If you add UTA eCharge (EV charging) to your fuel card:
- You pay an additional monthly fee per card with eCharge activated
- The internal documentation specifies:
- €2.95 fee per card for UTA eCharge
- Example total prices per card (internal reference):
- Basic package: €3.90 per card (0.95 € fuel card + 2.95 € UTA eCharge)
- Standard package: €5.40 per card (2.45 € fuel card + 2.95 € UTA eCharge)
4. Service and administration fees
Depending on your contract and country, additional service or administration fees may apply, for example:
- Fees for specific toll services, tunnels, bridges or ferries
- Fees for paper invoices vs. free e‑invoices
- Certain transaction or non‑usage fees
Your exact applicable fees are always defined in:
- Your individual contract / offer
