What happens when I refine individual stations within a merchant group?

When you select a merchant group, all stations in that group are included by default. You can refine the selection by deselecting individual stations.

  1. In Allow mode: If you select a merchant group and deselect some stores, only the remaining selected stores are authorised. The deselected stores within that group are effectively blocked.
  2. In Block mode: If you select a merchant group and deselect some stores, only the remaining selected stores are blocked. The deselected stores within that group remain allowed.
  3. Open the spend control profile and locate the merchant group you want to refine.
  4. Expand the group to see individual stores and check/uncheck stores as needed.

  5. Save the profile - the authorisation engine will enforce restrictions at store level based on your refined selection.
