What is UTA CardLock and how does it protect my fuel cards?

UTA CardLock is a security feature that locks a fuel card by default, minimising the risk of misuse and fraud that could lead to financial loss.

  1. UTA CardLock locks a fuel card by default. 
  2. When a driver needs to refuel, the card must be unlocked for a 60-minute window by:
    1. the Driver (via UTA Edenred Drive app)
    2. the Fleet manager (via myUTA portal)
    3. Customer Care 
  3.  After 60 minutes, the card automatically locks again, providing continued protection. 

    Additionally, with the multi-driver option, you can register up to three drivers per card. This feature allows a single card to be used and unlocked by multiple authorised drivers.
