The report, which calculates total CO2 emissions based on the amount of fuel purchased via UTA Edenred, is generated on a monthly basis via the UTA Service Center, following the end of each billing run.
The quantity of type of fuel used and associated CO2 emissions (in tonnes of CO2) are displayed. The calculation is made for diesel, petrol, CNG, LPG, LNG and HVO. A list of CO2 emissions for battery electric vehicles is not yet available.
The calculation is based on the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol – the international standard for calculating CO2 emissions.
UTA customers can access the reporting function in the Info Center section of the UTA Service Center under ‘Sustainability’ => ‘Emission measures and compensations’.
The new service is available to UTA Edenred customers in all countries free of charge.
Customers who not only want to calculate and document their CO2 output, but also reduce its environmental impact, have a solution at hand with the UTA Carbon Offset.
