Head of Business Applications (m/f/d)

full-time position to be filled as soon as possible in our division Technology in Kleinostheim near Aschaffenburg.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and execution of the IT strategy

  • Ensure stable and efficient IT operations of core legacy Backoffice applications (billing, invoicing, transactions, toll services, customer/supplier data and processes, enterprise content management, team collaboration software and messaging)

  • The delivery of projects and demands related to the current IT landscape: small enhancements, balanced between existing solutions and new platforms

  • Decommission legacy applications and define migration scenarios

  • Support budget/forecasting of parts of IT expenditures: resources planning, financial controlling

Your Profile:

  • You have  at least 6 years of experience in multi-team management in an internationally acting organization

  • You have experience in decommissioning strategy, rationalization strategy and migration to new solutions (including co-existence, etc.)

  • You have proven leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate objectives, inspire and motivate teams, and maintain alignment with business and IT

  • You are experienced with IBM products (DB2, iSeries, Lotus Notes), Java and Atlassian suite

  • You are fluent in English and desirably in German
