Kleinostheim, Germany – UTA Edenred, a leading mobility service provider in Europe and an Edenred company, has expanded its UTA EasyFuel® digital fuel card acceptance network to include approximately 1,800 stations in Germany, Austria and Italy.

In Germany, the UTA EasyFuel smartphone app for fast and secure processing of fuelling transactions can be used at around 900 Calpam, Avia, Hoyer, Sprint, Team Energie, Honsel, Q1, Classic and bft stations. In Austria, customers can refuel at approximately 300 stations, including Doppler and Inntaler. In Italy, some 600 stations, including those of Tamoil Italia and GNP, have been integrated into the network and will soon be available for use.
 
UTA Edenred will continue to expand the acceptance network to incorporate additional fuel brands and countries in Europe.

Smartphone app with advantages for users and acceptance partners
To develop the UTA EasyFuel app, UTA Edenred used CarPay-Diem technology, which enables mobile transactions at the pump for apps and vehicles with an internet connection. The UTA EasyFuel app is available for iOS and Android smartphones and Huawei devices. It can be downloaded free of charge from the respective app stores. 

With UTA EasyFuel, fuelling is not only safer and more convenient, but it is also faster since there is no need for drivers to queue at the cash desk. Acceptance partners also benefit via joint marketing opportunities and direct communication with drivers via the app.
