Kleinostheim, Germany – UTA Edenred, a leading mobility service provider in Europe and an Edenred company, has added Bulgaria to its UTA One® European Electronic Toll Service (EETS) solution. UTA One users can now conveniently bill journeys along Bulgaria’s 6,060-kilometre toll road network, including motorways and first- and second-class roads. For transportation companies, the new toll context simplifies the processing and administration of journeys through this important transit country. The Bulgarian toll context will be installed on UTA One on-board units (OBUs) via an over-the-air update. Customers can activate the service now in the UTA Service Center.

In addition to toll capabilities, UTA One comes equipped with the UTA SmartConnect telematics service. This solution helps increase the transparency and efficiency of fleet management, providing detailed, real-time information on fleet vehicles travelling through Europe. UTA One users can activate UTA SmartConnect in the UTA Service Center.

Iulian Alexe, UTA Edenred’s Country Manager for Romania and Bulgaria, says: "UTA One is a proven solution for convenient, pan-European transportation. With every new toll context we add, we make customers' lives easier. With the incorporation of UTA SmartConnect, UTA One has become an even more critical tool for the efficient management of fleets.”
