  • UTA’s acceptance network in Austria grows by 160 stations
  • Car fleets travelling through Austria benefit from more services
  • The new partnership extends UTA Edenred’s Europe-wide network to over 79,000 acceptance points, offering conventional and alternative fuels, an e-charging network that is currently being extended and further vehicle services

Kleinostheim, Germany – UTA Edenred, a leading mobility service provider in Europe and an Edenred company, initiated a partnership with JET Tankstellen Austria GmbH. The agreement expands UTA Edenred’s acceptance network in Austria from 1,640 to approximately 1,800 fuel stations. UTA Edenred customers can now use their UTA cards at JET stations to purchase diesel and petrol as well as accessories, lubricants and car washes.

Lukas Schneider, Chief Partnerships Officer at UTA Edenred, says: "We’re delighted to join JET’s network. The cooperation both expands our Austrian partner network and our nation-wide offering for car fleets."

Part of American energy group Phillips66, JET Tankstellen Austria GmbH operates 160 JET fuel stations in Austria, of which more than 140 are based on the successful BILLA stop & shop concept. JET stations are well known for their broad range of fuels, convenience stores and competitively priced services such as car washes. In fact, the brand is now the most popular fuel provider in Austria. (Source: MARKET study "Markttest 2022").

In addition, JET is the only fuel provider in Austria to allow fuel to be purchased both in the shop and directly at the pump. Processing at the pump not only saves time but also brings a reduction of 0.5 Euro cents per litre of fuel – a benefit also available to UTA Edenred customers. UTA Edenred customers can also access a vehicle wash pass from JET’s private customer segment through which every eighth wash is free.

Gerhard Entholzer, Manager Fleetcard at JET Tankstellen Austria, says: "Cooperating with UTA Edenred has enabled us to enter the fuel card business, tap into new customer segments and generate additional volume and sales at our existing locations."

With this latest extension of its offer in Austria, UTA Edenred’s Europe wide acceptance network comprises more than 79,000 acceptance points in 40 countries, offering conventional and alternative fuels, a charging network with more than 415,000 charging points (currently available to German customers and to be rolled out to further countries in future), as well as additional vehicle services like breakdown, towing, repair and cleaning.
