Information for UTA eCharge users

Activation & use
  • Your UTA eCard comes pre-activated for purchasing fuel, charging hybrid and electric vehicles and accessing UTA Plus Services.
  • Note that it may take up to 48 hours for your UTA eCard to be activated for all the stations in our charging network.
  • Charging via app is available immediately after you activate your user account.
  • The PIN code for your UTA fuel and charging card, which was sent to you separately, is only required for fuelling and accessing UTA Plus Services. No PIN is required for charging electric vehicles.
Optional: User account activation
If a user account is registered to you, you’ll receive an activation email. Click on the link to set your password. After first login to the UTA eCharge app, your account will be activated for charging (remote charging).
Important tariff information
The charging rate specified in the UTA eCharge app always applies to your UTA eCard. Prices shown at charging points are not valid for you. 
This also applies to the blocking fee. This occurs as specified in the UTA eCharge app, even if no information is visible at the charging station. There is currently no limit to the blocking fee.

Our app is available for download and installation under the name ‘UTA eCharge’ in your app store for both Apple iOS and Android.
