UTA Edenred expands electromobility partnership with Daimler Truck

Kleinostheim, Germany – UTA Edenred, a leading mobility service provider in Europe and an Edenred company, and Daimler Truck, are expanding their cooperation in truck charging.

  • Mercedes ServiceCard for charging electric Mercedes-Benz Trucks HGVs in UTA Edenred's public charging network to be launched to customers in Benelux, Italy, Spain and Poland in April, with additional markets to follow
  • Mercedes-Benz Trucks customers in Germany, Austria and France already benefitting from the capability

In April, Mercedes-Benz Trucks e-truck customers in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy, Spain and Poland will be able to access UTA Edenred's 28-country public charging network – joining customers in Germany, Austria and France who are already using the solution. Other countries will join the roll-out in the coming months.

The announcement marks a major step in the development of public charging facilities for electric trucks from Mercedes-Benz Trucks.

Being able to access UTA Edenred's European public charging network with a Mercedes ServiceCard charging card is a significant benefit for operators of electric Mercedes-Benz trucks.”

UTA Edenred's continuously expanding public charging network for battery-electric trucks is currently comprised of some 300 truck-compatible charging stations in 28 countries, including those of the Milence fast-charging network.
