Mont Blanc tunnel full closure from September to mid-December 2023

We would like to inform you about the total closure of the Mont Blanc Tunnel managed by TMB-GEIE.

From the beginning of September to mid-December 2023 – more than 60 years after it was built – the operator of the Mont Blanc Tunnel is carrying out a major project to reinforce two 300 meter-long portions of the vault – the first such structural work on a major European tunnel.

This renovation requires the total closure of the tunnel for 15 consecutive weeks.

• Ending Monday, 18 December 2023 at 22.00
