In Germany, the truck toll applies to domestic and foreign vehicles and vehicle combinations used for freight transport with a technically permissible total weight of more than 3.5 tonnes. Using an on-board unit (OBU) from the German toll operator Toll Collect, you can settle tolls for all highways and federal roads.

Convenient and straightforward

Register your vehicles via the UTA Service Center. Then make an appointment with a workshop to have a Toll Collect OBU installed.

Suitable for all vehicles

If your vehicle has a DIN slot, an OBU will be permanently installed in it. For vehicles without a DIN slot, a Toll Collect Windshield OBU will be installed.

Toll2GO: Expansion to include Austrian toll context

In addition to toll roads in Germany, you can use the Toll Collect OBU to handle Austrian tolls if required. To use this service, you must submit an application to the Austrian toll operator ASFINAG via the SelfCare portal. If the application is approved, Toll Collect will activate and enable the Toll Collect toll device. The relevant contract data will be stored on your OBU without you having to visit a GO sales point.
If your vehicle was previously equipped with an Austrian GO-Box, this must be returned to ASFINAG to avoid duplicate toll bookings. The switch from a GO-Box to a Toll Collect toll device is free of charge.
